Today was the last day at my job, before I start my new one in just a few days. A coworker, with whom I am personal friends, gave me the most unexpected, and surprisingly moving gift as a memento of my stepping out into a bigger career, and a symbol of our continuing friendship - especially having been fortunate to find friendship in what was often a very difficult working environment.
