Answer by GJFI used to just take the soapy washcloth I had just washed the baby with, dump the water, then soap it out. Then stick it in the shower, turn the shower on as hot as possible (without you or your hands in there - draw the curtain and reach in just in front of the knob) and let it scald the tub.
