I keep hearing that the previous & current season of Next Food Network Star are actually fake/staged/scripted or whatnot. Is there any truth to this?

Answer by Koko YI think what you might be hearing is that the judges you see, are not really making the decision as to who stays, goes, etc.
If you watch when the show is over (it goes by really quick) there is fine print that says decisions are made by producers and sponsors
