Question by Timmyfatlips: How do the food hygiene laws at jumble sales operate?
At my place of work, we're planning to hold a fundraising jumble sale, and were thinking of asking the service users to bring in food to sell - perhaps their national dishes cos they're a diverse bunch. But this is likely to be prepared off site, in people's own kitchens. I suspect that we're not going to be able to do this, but can anyone clarify what the legal situation is? Thanks.
