i am trying to get a job in a kitchen and i find that most employers ignore me, aside from my lack of experience could my lack of a food Hygiene certificate be why most employers can or wont ring me back for an interview, if i get the certificate will it greatly boost chances of getting a job in a kitchen

i am just wondering if having a food Hygiene certificate is the equivalent of
