Question by Froggiegirl: If you have extremely low potassium and high blood sugar, can you lower blood sugar with potassium rich foods?
I recently had a blood test before a surgery and my potassium was so low, they weren't sure if they could do the surgery. I was given four huge potassium pills which got my potassium level up enough to do the surgery.
